Flowserve Corporation

Flowserve Corporation, based in Taneytown, MD, is a long-time customer of Centurion Construction. When the sidewalks at the front of their facility and asphalt paving at the back of the facility needed improvement, Centurion again rose to the challenge, designing and building the best solution for Flowserve’s needs. All of the sidewalks at the front of the facility were replaced, a stone façade was added on existing and new concrete walls, and a new, powder coated handrail was added at each entrance. The asphalt paving at the back of the facility was removed, storm water piping was modified, and an 8” thick concrete paving was installed with re-bar reinforcement.

MKT – New Headquarters

Centurion had a great experience working with MKT Manufacturing on this project to design and construct a two-story, 6,000 square foot office for their new headquarters location. MKT is a growing company with great ownership, and we felt honored to have been awarded the contract. This project displays a great combination of a floor plan and finishes that are professional, functional, and architectural, while at the same time durable and efficient to stand up to the daily manufacturing needs.

Precision Cut – Renovations & Additions

The Precision Cut project was challenging for many reasons. The facility operated as a foundry under previous ownership; therefore the building was worn and needed attention. Centurion came up with a plan, working with the owner to completely renovate, restore, clean and practically make brand new this now 24,000 square foot building. Our plan included performing this work while maintaining plant production at all times. Our scope on this project included engineering, design, permitting, roofing, siding and insulation replacement, a 5,000 PSI Concrete topping, (1) new breakroom, (4) bathroom renovations, ventilation, heating and electrical upgrades, numerous site improvements to include paving and loading dock upgrades, new 800 square foot and 1,900 square foot additions.

Precision Cut

Precision Cut recently moved into a foundry plant that had become worn and outdated under previous management. Centurion was hired to complete multiple renovations and upgrades, all while the plant remained in full production. Major renovations were made to the warehouse roofing and siding, insulation, and the interiors of four bathrooms. The crew also installed a new break room, completed electrical and ventilation enhancements, loading dock upgrades, and 2,700 square feet of additions. Our plan required more flexibility than usual in order to allow Precision Cut to maintain its average production rate, but in the end the jobs were all finished with a quality that satisfied Centurion’s high standards.
